Today we've opened the recruitment process for our next Council Apprentices.
There are two places available for a year-long role starting in January. All current HCPC registrants can apply.
The Council Apprenticeship scheme was first introduced in 2020 with the aim of giving talented individuals on our Register the experience and skills to confidently take part in future governance roles.
Council Apprentices take part in all HCPC Council meetings and associated activity.
They also get involved in our Audit and Risk Assurance and People and Resources Committees to maximise their transferable experience of governance.
The role is non-executive, but our apprentices see all board papers that support decisions and are encouraged to participate in the meeting debates.
We provide a comprehensive induction and mentoring support throughout the apprenticeship.
Applications for this year’s Council Apprenticeship scheme will close 9am Monday 23 December 2024.
