Responding to conditions and final approval decision

In this stage

  • We will support you to respond to the conditions we have set
  • We will review your response to consider whether the issues identified through conditions have been addressed
  • We will work with you if your first response does not sufficiently address the issues, through further quality activity of required
  • We will come to final conclusions about the approval of your provision

We will update the report to cover the above, and will make a recommendation to our Education and Training Committee (ETC) to:

  • Approve the programme(s)
  • Not approve the programme(s)

The ETC will then:

  • Review partner visitor findings of the process
  • Consider any ‘observations’ you supply
  • Decide on programme approval

Purpose of this stage

When we set conditions, education providers must show that they meet our requirements before approval can be granted to their institution and / or programme(s)

When we reach this stage, we ask providers to provide a submission which demonstrates how they meet conditions

We use this information to consider whether conditions are met, and whether any further quality activity is needed
