From 29 January 2025, new English language proficiency requirements for new international applicants seeking to join the Register will come into effect.

We emailed education providers due their performance review in 2023-24 in late June. Providers who will undergo the process this year (2023-24) will have been given specific requirements and a key contact to work with at the HCPC.

Mary Hannon-Fletcher is a Professor of Biomedical Sciences at Ulster University. She is also an HCPC Panel Member and Lead Visitor.

We are concerned to hear that people with Type 2 diabetes are experiencing problems accessing GLP-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1 RAs).
