We're looking to appoint a member for our Education and Training Committee
This is an exciting opportunity to get involved in important regulatory functions relating to setting our standards, the registration of professionals and approving education programmes.
About the HCPC
We are a UK-wide regulator of 15 different health and care professions. Our aim is to protect the public. To do this, we keep a register of health and care professionals who meet our standards for their training, professional skills and behaviour.

About the Education and Training Committee
The HCPC’s Education and Training Committee advises the Council on matters relating to education, training and registration.
Members of the committee also chair and sit in rotation as the Education and Training Panel to consider visitors' reports, recommendations for focussed review and focussed review reports and changes to programmes.

What we are looking for?
Core competencies for this role include:
- recent and significant experience of quality assurance in an education setting;
- understanding of the priorities of HCPC stakeholders;
- ability to contribute to strategic direction;
- ability to explore accountability of self and others;
- commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion;
- ability to listen and communicate effectively; and
- ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Committee members receive an attendance fee of £362 per meeting. The time commitment for this role is approximately ten days per year.
