Carry everything you need to know about registration in your pocket

In 2014 we launched myHCPC, a mobile app for registrants. Its aim was to let you carry round everything about HCPC in your pocket – from standards to CPD advice.

Last year, we invited registrants and HCPC employees to feed back on the app’s structure, design and content. This feedback, often bitingly honest, resulted in several fixes that we are delighted to say will be released in April.

You can expect to see:

  • a visually engaging dashboard home screen, with instant access to core standards and an overview of the app’s content at a glance;
  • a profession-specific filter, pulling through the only the guidance relevant to you – no more scrolling through fifteen irrelevant professions;
  • revamped navigation, with a series of bold icons at the top of every page; and
  • a new bookmarking tool, so you can save pages and sections for reference later.

 

We believe the app could make a difference to the lives of hundreds of registrants, increasing their confidence on the job.

So to show future users how the app could fit into their lives, our team have set out to speak to registrants who have used it before, and ask them how it improved their lives.

We’re still seeking stories from existing users to spread the word even further. So if you’re someone who has used the app already, and would like to help others, we’d love to hear yours. We’ll be using them on HCPC’s Facebook and Twitter over the coming weeks.
