The HCPC has commissioned a team at the University of Surrey to look at why we receive more fitness to practise concerns about paramedics and social workers than other professions we regulate, and what we can do about it.
As part of this research, the team will shortly be emailing a random sample of social workers registered with us to invite them to participate in a focus group in February.
There is no obligation to take part, however contributions will be highly valued. The findings will be reported to the HCPC anonymously.
You can find out more about the research in the attached document. If you have any questions, you can respond to the invitation from the research team or you can contact a member of the Policy and Standards Department by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 020 7840 9815.
